You don't have to feel this way. Take the first step.

Taking care of your mental health is important, and acknowledging the courage it takes to start therapy is part of that process. As Einstein wisely noted, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Embracing change requires us to take bold steps.

Scheduling a session can be a powerful way to initiate that change. Whether you're facing challenges with anxiety, overthinking, or self-esteem, my approach focuses on compassion and mindfulness.

I offer both in-person counselling in Langford and virtual therapy for those seeking flexibility.

What to Expect
In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand your needs and explore practical strategies for managing life’s challenges. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out before booking.

  • What are your rates?
$150 + gst Each session lasts 50 minutes, unless we make other arrangements, online and in-person. Fees will be going up to $155 + gst in 2025, following BCACC's suggested schedule.
  • Does insurance cover counselling?
Many extended health benefit plans cover counselling. Here are a few tips to make sure you have coverage: - Check your insurance plan documents or call your insurance provider to see if counselling therapy sessions by a RCC (Registered Clinical Counsellor) or CCC (Canadian Certified Counsellor) are covered by your plan. Every plan is different, depending on the agreement you employer made with the insurance provider. - Request information on the yearly maximum reimbursement and the coverage for each visit. - If you do not have coverage, you can make a written request to your employer through the HR department, to have the insurance company adjust the plan to include Counsellors. If you need help with this, feel free to contact me.
  • Where can I find free mental health resources?
You can explore my free Healing Community for monthly information, articles, and resources. Additionally, I recommend visiting local BC mental health websites for further free support, like https://www.heretohelp.bc.ca/
  • How does virtual therapy work?
Virtual therapy is conducted via a secure video platform, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own home. There is strong evidence that backs up the effectiveness of video therapy for most emotional issues. My therapeutic approach and the type of clients I see do very well with online counselling. I can see clients from all of BC, AB, SK and MB.
  • Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes! I provide a free 15-minute video consultation to help assess if we're a good fit. You can ask any questions you may have before booking a session. Please email me to schedule this consultation.
  • What issues can counselling help with?
Counseling offers a safe (confidential and non-judgemental) and supportive space to help you work through challenges like anxiety, self-criticism, stress, overthinking, and low self-esteem. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, burnout, stuck, or simply want to better understand yourself, I’m here to guide you through the process. In our sessions, I take a mindfulness and compassion-focused approach. This means we’ll work together to help you develop a kinder and wiser relationship with yourself, quiet that critical inner voice, and build skills to manage life’s stressors. My goal is to support you in finding more balance, peace, and resilience in your everyday life.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
I require a 24-hour notice to cancel or re-schedule an appointment, otherwise the full fee will be charged. This ensures the therapy space can be offered to someone on the waitlist. Letting me know as soon as you can is appreciated.
  • Do you offer a sliding scale for fees?
Currently, my sliding scale spots are filled. However, if you’re interested in applying for this option, please send me an email and I will add you to my waitlist.
  • How do you take payments?
I use Jane App at the office and Noterro (Square) for online sessions, to manage payments via credit card, unless you prefer to pay by e-transfer before each session. You can opt to have your credit card on file.
